Pastor Eugene Nichols, Jr.

For more than two decades, Pastor Eugene has dedicated his life to the service of ministry, exhibiting profound leadership in various pivotal roles. His extensive experience encompasses being the spearhead of the Men’s Ministry, an Executive Board Member, an Associate Elder, and a distinguished leader in the Marriage Ministry. Additionally, he served as an Associate Pastor under the guidance of three globally acclaimed Senior Pastors.

Throughout his illustrious ministry journey, Pastor Eugene has demonstrated versatility by conducting comprehensive ministry trainings, officiating weddings and funerals, offering solace through hospital and convalescent home visits, orchestrating retreats and ministry conferences, and actively participating in outreach initiatives such as feeding the homeless. His impactful efforts have resulted in the effective discipleship of numerous individuals into the kingdom of the Lord.

Pastor Eugene’s teaching prowess is marked by its prolific and anointed nature, leading to transformed perspectives, changed lives, and the fortification of men, families, communities, and organizations. With academic qualifications including a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Masters in Human Resources, he has also navigated executive-level positions over a remarkable span of 25 years.

In a personal capacity, Pastor Eugene finds fulfillment in his marital union with Dr. Darlene. Together, they are proud parents to two sons, EJ and Austin.

Responding to the divine call, Pastors Eugene and Dr. Darlene have seamlessly transitioned into their current roles as senior pastors at New Life Encounter Church. This dynamic partnership brings forth a wealth of experience, knowledge, and spiritual insight, fostering a transformative environment for the congregation. Their shared commitment to ministry continues to leave an indelible mark on the spiritual landscape, resonating with the values of dedication, leadership, and impactful service.

 

Pastor Darlene Allen Nichols, LCP, PhD

For over three decades, Dr. Darlene has been actively engaged in ministry, passionately spreading the message of Jesus Christ through evangelism and preaching. In 1999, she took a significant step by establishing DAN Ministries, Inc, a registered Not-for-Profit organization in the state of Illinois. This multifaceted ministry comprises various arms, including The DAN Care Center, DAN Productions, DAN Consultants, DAN Can Mentoring Program, and DAN Counseling.

As an ordained Pastor, Dr. Darlene has played a pivotal role in overseeing global ministries.  Her dedication is evident in the Minister in Training classes she conducts, resulting in the ordination of three ministers within the DAN Ministries community. Her services extend beyond Chicago, reaching communities across the United States of America, as well as South Africa where she has implemented diverse programs to foster spiritual development, intellectual stimulation, and leadership growth.

Dr. Darlene’s educational background is extensive, encompassing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Master’s in Business, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Doctorate of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership & Development.  She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.  In her personal life, she finds joy in her union with Pastor Eugene, and together, they are blessed with two sons, EJ and Austin.

Following the divine call, Pastors Eugene and Dr. Darlene have united their efforts in ministry as senior pastors of New Life Encounter Church. This collaborative leadership reflects their shared commitment to serving and impacting the lives of those within their congregation under the guidance of the Lord.
